Arrival day
Arrival in Ghana and pick up from airport. Check-in and overnight in Accra at Fiesta Royale Hotel or similar.

Date : June 21, 2020
Accra City Tour
We tour Ghana’s capital city, visiting some of the iconic sites including Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Pak where we have the mausoleum and personal museum of Ghana’s first president, and Independence Square for some political history. We end the day at the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre. Overnight in Accra at Fiesta Royale Hotel or similar
DAY 3
Date : June 22, 2020
Trip to Akosombo
Today we travel from Accra to Akosombo. Check in at the Hotel check and have lunch. Later in the day, enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Volta River. An evening of relaxation on your own. Overnight at Afrikiko Hotel or similar.
DAY 4
Date : June 23, 2020
Night life
After breakfast, we’ll head back to Accra. Hotel check in. Experience an evening out in Accra. Overnight in Accra at Fiesta Royale or similar.
DAY 5
Date : June 24, 2020
A visit to the slave river
Depart Accra at 11:00 a.m. for Winneba where we will have lunch. Continue on to the slave river at Assin Manso where our captured ancestors had their last bath before the march to the one of the slave castles for auction. We then head to Elmina. Hotel check-in. Overnight at Golden Parker Hotel or similar.

Seaside Cultural Performance
Spend a relaxing morning with a visit to One Africa Spa & Resort. Meet the owners, tour this iconic landmark on the shores of the Atlantic, and savor an early lunch. Return to your hotel briefly before heading to Brenu Beach for a Seaside Cultural Performance, and an early dinner, then we return to Hotel. Overnight in Elmina at Golden Parker Hotel or similar.
DAY 7
Date : June 26, 2020
Kakum National Park.
Today you choose. Spend the morning relaxing in the hotel, or experience the canopy walk above and among the trees at Kakum National Park. Later, you can opt to take a walk through the fishing village of Elmina. Overnight in Elmina at Golden Parker Hotel or similar.
DAY 8
Date : June 27, 2020
A visit to a Slave Castles/Dungeons
After breakfast, we’ll begin with a poignant visit to the slave castles/dungeons before heading back to Accra. Learn all about the role of this facility in the infamous Slave trade across the Atlantic Ocean. Check in to hotel on arrival in Accra. Optional: Visit the Ancestral Wall at Prampram, about an hour outside of Accra. Overnight in Accra at Fiesta Royale Hotel or similar.
DAY 9
Date : June 28, 2020
Shopping day
Markets, Malls, Art Center & Artists Alliance. Today it is all about shopping and making potential business contacts. Overnight in Accra at Fiesta Royale or similar.
DAY 10

Departure day
Have a leisurely morning packing and preparing for your journey home. Hotel check-out followed by a farewell lunch at Afrikiko, then drop off at the airport for departure
